midway
so walking into to midway, immediately fell in love larry Clarks' Tulsa. the images are so raw and pure. i love what he's trying to do, they way he portrays drug abuse is beautiful. its so somber. i couldn't take my eyes off of it, i kept gravitating back to it. what i didn't gravitate too, was Gedi Sibony's Remaining, it was boring lifeless, no vision. i don't understand it, it makes me mad of all things, mad that this is in an art gallery, and possibly someone's home..... why? why and how is this art, i think my macaroni on paper plates in kindergarden had more vision.

OK. So you don't appreciate/enjoy Sibony's work and seem to find it too simplistic (correct?) I agree that at first glance this may be so. But what external evidence can you site about Sibony, his process, his work to back up this critique. You can make these pronouncements if you have information /knowledge to back you up. Why don't you check out these articles about him: http://www.contemporarystl.org/GediSibony.php and http://www.wmagazine.com/artdesign/2008/11/gedi_sibony and see what they have to say. Also, you might want to include some images and specifically address one or two of each artists' works to engage in a thorough critical comparison of them....
